Jerry Goetz CFP®, CFS®, CRPC®

President

I value the importance of family and am thankful that I am able to be active in my family’s life.  My wife Michelle and I married in 1995 and have three wonderful children: Emma (1999), Evan (2001) and Ella Claire (2005).

I believe balance in life is very important.  I strive to have continuous growth in my life physically, mentally, financially and spiritually.  I enjoy a daily workout routine, hiking as a hobby, lifelong continuous education, owning and operating an important business that took years of sacrifice to build, all while staying active in my Church and giving God the thanks He deserves.

I believe maintaining a positive mental attitude, taking persistent action, learning from mistakes and successes and maintaining gratitude for the gifts and talents one is given presents individuals the power to pursue dreams and goals.

My educational background includes:

  • Continuous Education to maintain securities registrations, insurance license and three financial designations
  • Earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation (2008)
  • Earned the Certified Fund Specialist designation (2004)
  • Earned the Certified Financial Planner™ designation (2002)
  • Continued College Courses in a Certified Financial Planner™ Program at American College (2001)
  • Continued College Courses in an Accounting Certificate Program at University of Southern IN (1998/1999)
  • Western Kentucky University, cum laude (1993)

Since 1999 - through both negative and positive market periods - I have helped clients build strong financial and retirement strategies.

Proper planning involves careful analysis, developing a custom strategy and taking action.  I believe that a strong financial foundation allows you more time, energy and resources to focus on the personal things in life that mean the most to you.

I am an experienced financial advisor who can use a combination of academic knowledge and real world experience to assist you in developing your custom plan of action.  Nothing can replace a personal relationship with a trusted advisor, who truly understands your needs and places your interest above all else.

"Jerry Goetz has been our financial and retirement advisor since 2001. Jerry was recommended as a financial advisor by Dave Ramsey. I have found Jerry to be a very good man both professionally and personally. Jerry and his staff have always been prompt in their responses to my inquiries. While most of my calls to Jerry are financial related, we generally have to discuss matters such as family, football and hiking. I no longer live in Indiana, however we have continued to trust Jerry and his staff as our financial advisor team. We have been very pleased with the services and advice we have received." – Current Client

I have always valued my relationships with my family and friends. As part of the advisor team, I look forward to developing trust and building new relationships with our clients.

I enjoy traveling and gaining new experiences. Hiking through mountain ranges that I have never seen before is one of my favorite things to do while traveling. I also love visiting the landmarks and local restaurants in new cities.

In my free time I enjoy playing guitar. Being able to play the songs that I listen to is very rewarding. I feel the most accomplished after putting in the hard work that is necessary to learn a challenging song or new technique. I also spend time working out in the gym. Being in the gym helps me maintain physical and mental wellbeing.
