Jerry Goetz

I value the importance of family and am grateful to God that I am active in my family’s life.  My wife Michelle and I married in 1995 and have three wonderful children: Emma (1999), Evan (2001), and Ella Claire (2005).

I believe balance in life is very important.  I strive to have continuous growth in my life and put forth effort to maintain physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. I believe maintaining a positive attitude, taking persistent disciplined action, and learning from past mistakes and successes presents individuals the power to become the best version of themselves.

I am the original founder of Retirement & Financial Strategies.  I created the company to offer clients a highly focused local resource for financial planning and investment management needs.  After having over 25 years’ experience as a financial advisor, my current role as company President has developed into providing ongoing consultation to the financial advisor team as well as our customer service team.

My education background includes:

•    Earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor certification (2008)
•    Earned the Certified Fund Specialist certification (2004)
•    Earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification (2002)
•    Continued College Courses in a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Program at American College (2001)
•    Continued College Courses in an Accounting Certificate Program at University of Southern Indiana (1998/1999)
•    Bachelor's Degree from Western Kentucky University, cum laude (1993)
